On Tuesday, October 10, Covia hosted more than 115 golfers in support of United Way's efforts to unite people and resources to measurably improve the self-sufficiency of individuals and families.

From helping to build a team focused on the importance of safety and health to developing innovative solutions that go beyond the mining industry – the experiences I’ve garnered at Covia have helped shape both my personal and professional life.

We believe our investments in technology are crucial for unlocking the full potential of our pipeline. This includes the software we rely on when developing our products and solutions.

Covia, a leading provider of high-quality, diversified specialty minerals and material solutions for the industrial and energy markets, announced that, for the second consecutive year, the company was awarded a bronze medal for sustainable performance of its business by EcoVadis.

At Covia, we promote waste management practices aimed at reducing the volume of waste we generate, as well as encouraging the responsible handling of such waste.

The commitment to responsible water stewardship is shared across our organization. In 2022, our facilities continued to leverage new technologies and innovative conservation strategies to help reduce our consumption, preserve local water supplies, and improve water quality.

On September 6th, Covia held our annual Safety Day at all our locations, which is designed to raise awareness among our team members about critical safety and health issues.

Covia's Tunnel City Plant is located in Tomah, Wisconsin. Tomah. While Tomah is known for its beautiful natural surroundings, including some impressive hiking trails and lakes, it is also home to nearly 70 dedicated Covia Team Members.

At Covia, we view education as a vital component of strong communities. In 2022, many of our facilities engaged with local schools to provide educational opportunities, support school programs, and donate time and resources to help meet the essential needs of students.

Energy efficiency and emissions reduction have been consistent priorities for Covia over the years, and in 2021, we began adding more data-driven analysis to our efforts.
