Covia is proud to have contributed to the Wildlife Habitat Council's (WHC) white paper entitled "Enhancing Habitats for Reptiles and Amphibians."

Two of Covia’s plants are nominees for awards from the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) this year. Those nominated represent companies certified by the WHC with outstanding voluntary programs that aim to create, conserve, and restore wildlife habitat.

At Covia, prioritizing Safety First is a fundamental principle. We implement various measures to ensure that Safety and Health (S&H) are consistently at the forefront for our Team Members, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers.

Every year, Covia recognizes the outstanding work and contributions of Team Members, project teams, and plants, through several awards and accolades. The Covia Excellence Awards are one way we celebrate our team’s efforts.

One of my favorite things about Covia is the people. Since I was hired back in 2014, I’ve been able to work alongside such a reliable, open, and supportive group of Team Members.

Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TECK.A and TECK.B, NYSE: TECK) (“Teck”) announced today the release of our 23rd annual Sustainability Report, highlighting our performance in 2023 and progress in key areas including climate and nature. 

The future of Covia is bright. From a development standpoint – we have several exciting projects and evolutions on the horizon. At the personnel level, Team Members are continuing to break milestones in both their internal and external engagement.

Covia's team members are actively involved in their communities and take great pride in the work they do to strengthen our connection to those communities. For this reason, Covia has a comprehensive Community Investment Policy overseen by the Covia Foundation.

Covia strives to cultivate a nurturing environment where team members with diverse backgrounds and experiences can thrive, recognizing that the success of a company is equal to the strength of its people.

My first year at Covia has given me the opportunity to put that principle into action – relaunching training programs, further developing resources for Team Members, and collaborating with a wide range of talented professionals.
