The De Beers Family of Companies Report to Society 2007 "Living up to Diamonds" addresses sustainability issues relevant and material to key stakeholders and is now available in various downloadable formats from www.debeersgroup.com.

The report, sub-titled "From natural resources to shared national wealth", provides an overview of the contribution made by the De Beers Family of Companies to national development goals and sustainable development in their different countries of operation. It specifically evaluates performance in the areas of economics, ethics, employees, communities and the environment and includes information from owned and managed businesses as well as joint venture partnerships with governments. The report also demonstrates accountability against external commitments and standards including the Global Reporting Initiative "G3" sustainability indicators, HIV/AIDS indicators, mining and metals sector supplement indicators, the UN Global Compact Principles and the Millennium Development Goals.
