ACCP, in partnership with the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business, is accepting applications for the programs of the  Corporate Responsibility Executive Institute (CREI). CREI, in its third year, is a suite of business focused educational offerings for seasoned Corporate Responsibility executives.

“Unprecedented change in the US and around the world means business leaders are evaluating how to adapt and thrive in what is a rapidly evolving and complex environment,” says Mark Shamley, President & CEO of ACCP. “We know the bar is raised on what our people are expected to do. The programs of the Corporate Responsibility Executive Institute are designed to prepare CR executives to meet the business challenges faced by their companies. CR executives who apply to CREI are at the top of their profession. They know CR inside and out. The University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business was chosen specifically as our partner because of their ability to deliver the business-centric education today’s CR executives need to thrive in an increasingly high stakes position.”

The first program under the Institute in May 2017 is Managing the Matrix. The course builds an individual’s understanding of business leaders’ thought processes and by doing so enables more effective collaboration. Topics covered include Brand and Reputation Management, Crafting the Internal Message, and The Intersection of Human Resources and Corporate Responsibility. Faculty for the program includes Alan Nelson and John Branch.

Next up in July of 2017 is Advanced Business Acumen, a quantitative program designed to give participants a better grasp on numbers, metrics, and operations. Topics covered include Business Problem Solving, Economic Evaluation of Organizational Performance, and Supply Chain Management. Featured faculty includes Viva Bartkus, John Halloran, and Srikanth Sarathy.

The final program held in October 2017 is Strategic Business Leadership. Individuals taking this course will learn how the senior leaders of their organizations think and execute business strategy and how to take that knowledge and apply it to their approach. Topics covered include Polarities Thinking, Sensing the Future, and Change and Innovation. Rajan Kamath is one of the faculty leading this session.
