On the 4th and 5th of May, over 450 business professionals will gather in London to push forward the corporate responsibility and sustainability agenda.

The Responsible Business Summit will bring together the cream of the responsible business world on the 4th and 5th of May for two days of dynamic discussion and argument on the future of CR and sustainability.

Now in its 9th year, the Summit has a formidable reputation for collecting together European CSR experts and business leaders. The organisers, Ethical Corporation, have surpassed themselves for the 2010 event "“ bringing together no less than 6 international CEOs/Presidents to contribute to proceedings. This year, an innovative new format ensures all keynote speakers will give presentations linked specifically to issues integral to their business. The conference heralds the end of vague PR-based speeches with little useful content.

Kenneth Bengtsson, CEO and President of ICA, Scandinavia’s largest retailer will be answering the following: "What are Scandinavian consumers asking you for on sustainability? How are you responding, and what lessons have you learned?".

Later in the morning of the 4th, Hubert Patricot, President of Coca Cola Europe, will tackle "What challenging targets should industry be reaching for on water and carbon? How are Coca Cola working to address these targets?"

No less than 4 other international business leaders will be responding to direct questions on their business practices in our keynotes. Other COEs/Presidents include Ian Cheshire of Kingfisher Group, Christian Morales of Intel and Peter Unsworth of Tata Beverages Group.

The rest of the conference is given over to 24 interactive workshops on CR and sustainability issues highlighted during our months of primary research. For a full list of topics to be covered, go to www.ethicalcorp.com/rbs/agenda.asp.
