PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 2 - PNC Bank, a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., is offering children age 12 and under the chance to win a $50,000 education fund to help them with college education expenses. The program, announced in December, continues through January 17, 2003 and entry forms are available at all PNC Bank branches in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.

Winners of the $50,000 education fund will be chosen in a random drawing on or about January 27, 2003. Parents or legal guardians of children 12 and under, who are residents of Pennsylvania, Delaware or New Jersey, are invited to visit a PNC Bank branch and complete an entry form. There are 208 PNC branches in the greater Philadelphia region. No purchase is necessary and the form must be completed in the branch on or before Jan. 17, 2003. Altogether, PNC Bank is donating $100,000 in educational gifts. One $50,000 prize will be awarded for those who entered at a branch in the western half of Pennsylvania and one $50,000 prize will be awarded for those who entered at a branch in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, or Delaware or New Jersey.
