Over two days, the conference, entitled "How to Make Corporate Responsibility Work in China", will address the business-critical issues for multinational corporations in the planning, development, co-ordination and production of responsible business initiatives in China.
Topics to be discussed include: Understanding key stakeholder expectations of corporate performance in China, implementing a global code of conduct in Chinese operations in different industries, managing responsibility on the factory floor, Measuring the ROI of supplier training on CSR, HIV /Aids awareness in China, what corporations can do to help safeguard human rights and the status of corporate responsibility from a regulatory perspective in China.
Keynote speakers include John Kamm, Executive Director of the Dui Hua Foundation and Roy Jones, Senior Policy Advisor to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) for the Trade Union Advisory Committee (TUAC).
