PNC Bank has invested $20 million in the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) to expand the organization’s efforts to boost economic opportunity and growth in thousands of rural counties as well as across 38 metro areas in the United States.

In the second year of transformational investments, PNC continues to improve outcomes for communities nationwide.

KeyBank announced a $150,000 grant to Rural Community Assistance Corporation to support its environmental programs. Specifically, it will enable RCAC to improve low-income, rural communities’ access to safe, affordable drinking water and to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc., (RurAL CAP) received a $150,000 grant from KeyBank to support its new Teacher Apprenticeship program, an effort to train and support new educators in attaining required certifications.

The vote is in. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) voted on a final rule for climate disclosure at their meeting March 6th, requiring the disclosure of GHG emissions and climate risk.

Liberty Community Services of New Haven has been awarded a two-year $120,000 grant from KeyBank Foundation, the charitable foundation of KeyBank, to support the organization’s mission of “Getting People Home”. 

Mastercard launched the bilingual Hispanic Digital Doors platform this month to connect entrepreneurs with online resources and trusted partners committed to working with the Hispanic business community.
