TE’s 2012 Corporate Responsibility Report includes the following highlights:

• The company reduced greenhouse gases by 13%, energy consumption by 13%, water usage by 12%, wastewater discharge by 13%, and hazardous waste by 52%.
• Supplier sustainability and workplace screenings increased by 61% over fiscal year 11. Onsite sustainability and workplace conditions audits increased by 104%. Full site re-audits were initiated in fiscal year 12.
• New goals were set to reduce the environmental impact associated with shipping and to support local economies.
• Philanthropic donations by the company, employees, and the TE Foundation worldwide exceeded $4 million.
