The report combines the results of the company's activities in corporate social responsibility (CSR) with the management report in activities and financial results.
June 1, 2012, Moscow – OJSC Sberbank of Russia issued its Annual Report for 2011, which combines report of the Bank on results of its activities in corporate social responsibility (CSR) with management report in activities and financial results.
It is the second report by OJSC Sberbank of Russia, prepared according to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), a global standard in Corporate Social Responsibility. The report complies to “B” application level for GRI standard, and demonstrates significant progress of OJSC Sberbank of Russia in planning and disclosure of information about completion of its goals in CSR (report by OJSC Sberbank of Russia for 2010 was rated for application level “C”).
The Report is structured according to main priorities of policy of OJSC Sberbank of Russia in CSR established in 2011 on results of the Bank’s dialogue with major stakeholder groups (customers, employees, state and society, shareholders and investors), and includes the following sections:
The Report covers major initiatives and results obtained in each priority areas, and approaches of the management to implementation of initiatives of OJSC Sberbank of Russia in CSR. The Report describes approaches of the Bank to development of dialogue with interested parties.
Publication of the Report for 2011 shows commitment of OJSC Sberbank to reach its financial and non-financial goals using principles of responsible business and in compliance with the bank’s Mission.
