Issued by Kellogg

Summary

The report reviews progress in four key areas: Marketplace, Workplace, Environment and Community.

Report Highlights

Kellogg Company is committed to achieving its vision of enriching and delighting the world with foods and brands that matter – while also doing what’s right for the environment and society. As part of this commitment, Kellogg is pleased to announce the launch of the company’s 2011 Corporate Responsibility Report, available at www.kelloggcompany.com.

The report reviews progress in four key areas: Marketplace, Workplace, Environment and Community. It also highlights two new spotlight stories – Sustainable Agriculture and the Benefits of Breakfast – that cut across multiple areas of the company’s Corporate Responsibility strategy.

Some highlights of the company’s progress this year include:

• Intensified approach to sustainable agriculture to become a leading supporter of those who research, grow and supply the grains the company uses, including a partnership with Louisiana State University.
• Shifting to sustainably grown palm oil in Europe. In other markets where neither a segregated nor mass balance supply are fully available, Kellogg help growers fund the transition to sustainably grown palm oil by purchasing Green Palm certificates to cover 100% of the company’s current palm oil use in 2012.
• Contributed more than $38 million in cash and products to organizations around the globe in 2011, with a focus on breakfast and hunger-relief programs.
• Provided breakfast for millions of schoolchildren in need by supporting and helping launch breakfast clubs around the globe in areas where government-sponsored school breakfast programs don’t exist.

In addition, Kellogg is reporting at a GRI-checked application level of “B.”

Kellogg Company invites stakeholders to share comments and feedback on its report at corporateresponsibility@kellogg.com. Kellogg will make a one-time $5 donation to The Global FoodBanking Network (up to $10,000) for every person who sends feedback in 2012 on its Corporate Responsibility Report.
