The report is the organisation's third Sustainability Report and describes CPA Australia's activities in the areas of sustainability advocacy and education for the accounting profession.

Report highlights include:

Launching a new structure and syllabus of the CPA certification program incorporating updated subject matter on sustainability, non-financial performance and governance.
Establishing an expert technical committee, online knowledge portal and community discussion forum for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) subject matter.
Delivering sustainability focused professional development to 3000 members and non-members.
Providing financial literacy training to more than 600 disadvantaged Australians via a partnership with Mission Australia.

CPA Australia is one of the world's largest accounting bodies with a membership of more than 132,000 finance, accounting and business professionals across the globe.

CPA Australia strongly supports the move towards international integrated reporting and believes that accountants, as strategic business leaders, are pivotal to the development of integrated reporting. With this in mind, CPA Australia will continue its efforts to educate and inform members, the profession and the wider community about sustainability issues.
