2009 Highlights include:
Used the Greenhouse Gas Protocol to measure 2009 carbon emissions worldwide in anticipation of being carbon neutral by the end of 2010. 94% of CBRE offices now participate in a recycling program. 98% of CBRE employees globally completed an online ethics certification program. The total number of health and safety professionals globally expanded from six to 36 over the past two years. CBRE and its employees donated more than US$4.1 million to charitable organizations around the world. 1,200 senior company leaders participated in harassment prevention training aimed at building an inclusive culture that promotes high integrity and ethical behavior.
