In 2008 Prudential implemented a new CR Framework to reflect its key corporate responsibility priorities:

Giving customers fair, transparent financial products through a variety of trusted distribution channels.
Supporting ageing populations and changing demographics by providing products that meet evolving customer needs.

Being open and transparent about its responsibility priorities.

Key Highlights 2008:
The ‘Investing in Your Future’ financial literacy seminars in Asia have now benefited over 18,000 women, and more than 200,000 people in the UK have benefited from support of the Citizen’s Advice Financial Skills for Life programme.
In 2008 Prudential conducted extensive agency training in Asia. The company launched a series of Think Customer Days in the UK. The Service Quality Management Group in the US gave Jackson the 2008 award for highest customer satisfaction in the financial services industry in North America.
In 2008, Prudential’s Craigforth campus in Stirling, Scotland achieved the internationally recognised environmental accreditation ISO 14001 and in the US Jackson, PPM America, and PRUPIM’s North American investment properties joined the Climate Leaders programme.
Prudential invested £5.3 million in a wide range of projects to benefit communities in which it does business. More than 2,200 Prudential employees worldwide gave their time to 50 charitable projects for the 2008 Chairman’s Award programme.
