Henkel is pleased to announce the publication of its 2008 Sustainability Report.

For more than 130 years, Henkel has worked toward achieving sustainable development. Sustainability is part of Henkel’s DNA. This has helped Henkel to build an excellent reputation as a company and to attain leading market positions worldwide.

Henkel’s sustainability performance of over the past five years has been first-class: For example, Henkel has reduced the energy consumption by 11 percent and the water consumption by 35 percent per metric ton of output. Moreover, the number of occupational accidents has fallen by a gratifying 63 percent.

Every day, millions of customers and consumers around the world choose Henkel brands and Henkel quality. Henkel’s products and technologies are the core contribution of the company to society. Through them, Henkel supports climate protection, resource conservation, and social progress.
