As operator of the UK National Lottery since its inception in 1994, Camelot has a proven track record in its transparent and innovative approach to Corporate Responsibility. The company has just published its 9th Corporate Responsibility Report which is available online at: www.camelotgroup.co.uk/crreport2008.
The report highlights Camelot’s significant achievements in 2007/08 as it secured the next 10-year Licence to operate the Lottery – starting on 1 February 2009. Among these achievements is its continuing successful delivery of returns to Good Causes while providing leading-edge player protection. This - and pioneering new ways to engage with its stakeholders -remain at the heart of Camelot’s Corporate Responsibility strategy.
The report is independently assured by Deloitte using the AA1000AS Standard and the International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3000 (ISAE 3000). It also contains a statement by Camelot’s independent Advisory Panel for Corporate Responsibility.
