Hess Corporation is pleased to announce the publication of its 2007 Corporate Sustainability Report. This report is available at www.hess.com/ehs/annual_reports.htm.

The report reviews the company's commitment to the highest standards of corporate citizenship by protecting the health and safety of its employees, safeguarding the environment and creating a long lasting, positive impact on the communities where Hess operates.

This is Hess's 11th annual sustainability report. Improvements in 2007 include expanded sustainability information on major joint ventures, greater greenhouse gas emission coverage, which includes equity share reporting, and detailed insights into Hess's social responsibility programs. Hess reported against the Global Reporting Initiative's G3 guidelines to provide a comprehensive review of the company's performance in a manner consistent with other companies and relevant to key stakeholders. The information and data provided in the report was verified by ERM CVS.
