BASF The Chemical Company - has published its 2007 Reports

(Report 2007 and BASF In Brief 2007), supported by an expanded online version at www.corporate.basf.com/report and additional information at www.corporate.basf.com/future.

Please note that BASF changed its reporting structure. To meet growing demands to integrate sustainability reporting with financial reporting, the company has decided to combine the BASF Financial Report and the BASF Corporate Report into one single publication - the Report 2007.

The Report 2007 reports on BASF's financial, environmental and social performance in 2007. It is similar to the previous Financial Report in style and is specifically targeted at experts in the financial and sustainability communities. The BASF Financial Report and the BASF Corporate Report are no longer published.

BASF In Brief 2007 (formerly Short Report) offers an overview of the past business year and shows what BASF has achieved in 2007. In addition, short feature stories illustrate how the company contributes to important future topics. "BASF In Brief 2007" is primarily aimed at shareholders, employees, customers and visitors of BASF.

Expanded Internet reporting
To complement the two reports, the BASF website will be expanded to include special functions for experts e.g. automatic creation of Excel tables and comparison charts.
