Complementing efforts in North America, Sysco’s operations in Europe and Latin America also made substantial contributions to support local communities and protect the environment. For example, Sweden’s Menigo Foodservice team phased out the use of black plastic from its own meat production in FY20, and Mayca associates prepared 50,000 meal kits for the Costa Rican National Emergency Committee.

For the fiscal year 2009 that ended June 27, 2009, the company generated more than $36 billion in sales.
