Nominations for the HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ program are open for the 2023 cohort.

WASHINGTON, July 8, 2022 /CSRwire/ - The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) announces the opening of nominations for the 2023 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ (HACR YHCA) program.
For the 16th year, HACR invites Fortune 500 and HACR corporate member companies to nominate their best and brightest Hispanic high-potential leaders between the ages of 25 and 40 to participate in this rigorous hybrid program, set to begin in April of 2023. The initiative highlights the outstanding achievements of young corporate professionals and develops them for executive career pathways within corporate America.
“The HACR YHCA is one of the most successful leadership advancement programs for Hispanic corporate leaders in the U.S.,” said Cid Wilson, President and CEO of HACR. “Over the last 15 years of the program, the HACR YHCA program has successfully supported the elevation of dozens of young Hispanics from mid-level management at Fortune 500 companies to senior and executive roles, with some even rising up to Presidents, CEOs, and corporate board directors.“
For 2023, the program will begin with synchronous virtual sessions in April and will culminate with an in-person gathering in San Francisco from June 12–14, 2023. The nomination window will remain open until September 30, 2022. Applicants must be sponsored by a qualified executive leader at their companies. Self-nomination is not permitted. Last year, Fortune 500 and HACR member companies collectively sponsored 73 Latino employees to participate in the 2022 YHCA program. Recent graduates joined more than 400 distinguished alumni from 14 prior years of the program when they graduated on June 15, 2022 in Los Angeles.
The HACR YHCA program is a key component of the organization’s overall strategy for greater Hispanic representation in corporate America. The 2021 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index™ survey report states that although Hispanics represent more than $1.5 trillion in buying power and are on track to comprise nearly 20% of the country’s labor force by 2028, Hispanics comprised only 4% of corporate executives at the companies surveyed in the sample study.
