As part of its work on the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Resilient NJ program, WSP USA recently won the Resilient NJ: Innovation Award. The competition – established to encourage innovative ideas to improve resilience in each region – required the consultant teams representing the four Resilient NJ Regions to present their proposed Regional Resilience Adaptation Planning Scenarios based on 1.5 years of planning context research, stakeholder engagement and asset risk assessment.

WSP supports the NJDEP Resilient NJ Atlantic County Coastal Region in developing a suite of resilience strategies, projects and tools to help the state prepare for and adapt to impacts from a changing climate. Those projects include the Rebuild By Design Hudson River Project, NJ Regional Resilience and Adaptation Action Plan, NJ FRAMES region-specific resilience plan and Regional Stormwater Infrastructure Toolkit.
