Lucia Loza Galezewski

MILWAUKEE, March 2, 2022 /CSRwire/ - The Manufacturing Institute has named Rockwell Automation’s (NYSE: ROK) Lucia Loza Galezewski a 2022 STEP Ahead Award winner. Galezewski, a finance manager, was honored for her work as an innovative and trusted business associate, as a role model for Latinas, and for her community support efforts.

Now entering its 10th year, the STEP Ahead Awards have recognized, celebrated, and supported the accomplishments of more than 1,200 outstanding women in manufacturing who have had a positive impact on their companies, communities, and future generations. As a critical component of the STEP Women’s Initiative—an industry-wide effort to close the gender gap in manufacturing—the STEP Ahead Awards further encourage winners to mentor and support the next generation of female talent to pursue modern manufacturing careers.

At Rockwell, Galezewski has championed or played crucial roles in launching new strategies, processes, and tools that have significantly increased business while enhancing agility and streamlining operations. She’s also president of the company’s Latinx Professional Network employee resource group, a role in which she’s led many initiatives.

Outside of Rockwell, Galezewski is an influencer connecting various nonprofit organizations to ensure further support for the broader Latinx community. She’s also been a speaker and panelist for Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee and is a past recipient of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility’s Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever Award.
