Renewable Choice Energy announced today that it has joined global NGO CDP as its exclusive North American Partner for renewable energy consulting and broker services for offsite clean power, including renewable energy credits (RECs), carbon offsets, and long-term renewable energy purchasing contracts such as power purchase agreements (PPAs).

The partnership provides an outstanding opportunity for Renewable Choice and CDP to advance the adoption of clean energy among large purchasers such as the S&P 500.  Growth in this market sector has steadily been on the rise; over the past several years, corporate, industrial, and institutional (C&I) buyers have been responsible for bringing more than 5,000 megawatts (MW) of new wind and solar power onto the U.S. grid.  Renewable Choice has consulted on more than 1,000 MW of this total and is one of only a handful of U.S. firms advising corporations on offsite renewables.
