UPS® cameras capture sustainability success stories, June 16

NORTHAMPTON, Mass.,, May 29 /CSRwire/ - When faced with the option of scrolling through paragraph after paragraph of text or viewing a video to learn about a topic, the choice is clear among just about anyone from baby boomers to millennials – video wins.
For that reason, corporate communications and content marketing professionals responsible for telling CSR and sustainability stories are honing their multimedia production skills.
3BL Media has scheduled a webinar for 11 a.m. on June 16 to provide a primer on the personnel, equipment, procedures and budget necessary to build an effective video and photographic storytelling unit inside a corporation or non-profit.

“Visual Storytelling in CSR: UPS® Delivers a Primer for Corporate Communicators” is a free 45-minute webinar. Presenters will be June Holder, manager of sustainability for UPS; Ben Rivers, creative services manager for UPS; and Phil Matt, a former wire service photographer with 30 years of experience telling corporate stories with a camera.
Webinar attendees will hear why Atlanta-based UPS, world's largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services, recruited talent from CNN and other broadcasters to create an award-winning production unit.
Presenters will also provide advice for organizations with smaller budgets, specifying affordable equipment to purchase and strategies to reduce fixed costs by relying on freelance videographers and editors.
The creative process will also be a focus, with proven methods of counseling senior executives away from stereotypical and often yawn-inducing photo opps including ribbon cuttings, ground breakings and grip-and-grins.
