For Second Year Piraeus Bank Receives Platinum CRI Award

For a second year in a row Piraeus Bank receives the “Platinum” distinction, the highest prize awarded for 2012 by the CR Index in Greece. The Corporate Responsibility Index (CRI) is a leading, independent measure of responsible and sustainable business practice. Piraeus Bank has received for five consecutive years an award from the Corporate Responsibility Index, constantly being placed in the group of companies with the highest recognition in Greece.
This evaluation by the CR Index allows for monitoring and systematically reinforcing the strengths, as well as for improving the weak points concerning Piraeus Bank’s corporate responsibility. On the other hand, these annual distinctions come as a result of the Top Management’s long-term commitment in endorsing environmental and social strategies based on sustainability principles. It is worth noting, that this occurs at a time where in Greece there is a need for dynamic visions and extroversion.
