Through this lens, CSE's extensive and innovative services are also playing a significant role in pushing forward the Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel's vision of making Chicago the most livable city in the world, as sustainability is strong element of this vision. The Metro Chicago issue on Building a Sustainable Region also emphasized how small firms to major corporations, companies are discovering that environmental stewardship and business success go hand-in hand. The issue also lists existing and new green markets springing up in the area of Chicago, as the public demands more environmentally friendly products and services.
