Corporate Citizenship congratulates its clients Abbott, BAE Systems, BG Group, ConAgra Foods, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Molson Coors Brewing Company, and Unilever for being listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI).  These companies merit recognition for their continued citizenship performance, illustrated by repeated annual listing on DJSI. This year some companies have received additional recognition by DJSI.  ConAgra Foods has been added to the World Index, Molson Coors Brewing Company has been added to the World Index and named Beverage Sector Leader, and Unilever has been named the Food and Beverage Super Sector Leader.

Established in 1999, DJSI was the first global sustainable index which includes only the top performing companies from the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index.  In addition to their financial performance, DJSI evaluates companies’ environmental and social performance.  To obtain a place on the index, companies are assessed on social, economic, and environmental criteria including corporate governance, risk management, branding, climate change mitigation, corporate community involvement, and supply chain standards and labor practices.
