As part of its extensive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, HYGEIA Group provided emergency aid to the homeless of Athens.
A total of 500 sleeping bags were distributed today at the City of Athens Homeless Shelter. Furthermore, non-prescription medications (cough medicines, allergy syrups, anti-inflammatory medications and antibiotics) as well as various medical supplies (adhesive bandages, gauze dressings, cotton wool, masks and gloves) will also be delivered to the Homeless Shelter.
Commenting on the initiative, HYGEIA Group's CEO, Ms Areti Souvatzoglou, noted, "The Group is trying to address the major needs of vulnerable social groups. These adverse times demand our immediate contribution, with the aim of covering basic necessities."
