The Coca-Cola Foundation Awards $17.8 Million to 83 Organizations Worldwide During Fourth Quarter
The Foundation granted more than $70 million to 263 organizations in 2011

The Coca-Cola Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Coca-Cola Company, awarded $17.8 million in grants to 83 organizations worldwide during the fourth quarter. The grants include $3.6 million to support water stewardship projects; $3.7 million to support fitness and nutrition programs; $3.9 million to support education programs; and $1.6 million to support recycling initiatives. Additionally, $4.9 million will support other local priorities, such as disaster relief, HIV/AIDS prevention, youth development, arts and culture, and local civic initiatives.
