/PRNewswire/ - On November 22nd, FlatRate Moving® in partnership with FeedingNYC will be providing Thanksgiving Day dinners to families in need -- who would otherwise not be able to celebrate the holiday.

Over the past four years, FlatRate Moving® has had the privilege of being lead sponsor of the FeedingNYC Thanksgiving Day food drive with the goal of ensuring that even those who cannot afford a Thanksgiving meal -- can still enjoy one. This year, it is sponsoring the food drive once more -- providing transportation and manpower to deliver thousands of meals to all five boroughs in one day.

"People do not realize that one in five New York City residents live below the poverty line! It's a major problem -- and we're hoping to make this Thanksgiving Day a brighter one for a few thousand of those families," said Jon Katz, V.P. of Sales and Marketing.
