/PRNewswire/ - Project 7®, a company that makes everyday products for good, today announced the addition of Ann Fong as chief financial officer and vice president of operations. Fong, a seasoned executive well versed in consumer goods, has spent the majority of her career developing major lifestyle brands in Southern California.

"Ann has a proven track record in scaling entrepreneurial organizations in seasons of dynamic growth," said Tyler Merrick, founder and CEO of Project 7. "Ann's expertise in the evolution of lifestyle brands will be a tremendous asset to Project 7 as we continue to expand distribution and develop additional product lines."

Fong joins Project 7 from Trina Turk, a contemporary fashion apparel brand, where she has led the company's finance and operation team since 2010. Prior to Trina Turk, Fong worked for seven years as the chief financial officer of Paul Frank, where she oversaw the company's sale to Saban Brands, and for six years as the controller of Volcom. Fong began her career as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young, LLP. Fong holds a bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton, sits on the Board of Fashion Gives and the Finance Committee Board for Orange County's United Way, and is an active member of Orange County Women CFO Roundtable and the Influential Women Group of Orange County.
