The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index announced its rating of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) as one of the top performers in the global chemical industry -marking the eleventh time Dow has received this recognition since the launch of the Index.
In addition to improving its rating from last year, Dow achieved the highest score in the sector for corporate governance. The Company's overall score was 87 percent - 30 percentage points higher than the average for the industry group. Dow was one of only 10 chemical companies to be recognized in the World Index.
