/PRNewswire/ - ACE Cash Express, Inc., a leading retailer of financial services, donated thousands of school supplies to Dallas-based Genesis Women's Shelter in an effort to provide their clients with back to school basics.
This donation was made possible through the ACE Community Fund, ACE's corporate giving program that focuses on children, education and financial literacy and the generosity of ACE's corporate associates.
"ACE and its employees are privileged to support such a great organization," said ACE Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Laurie Goodine Hill. "We are committed to Genesis Women's Shelter and its mission to end domestic violence and help the victims of domestic violence."
"BIG 'Thank You' to ACE Cash Express for providing school supplies to the kiddos at Genesis Women's Shelter," said Lara Gaither, Director of Outreach and Community Development with Genesis Women's Shelter. "Because of their donation, children at Genesis will each receive a backpack full of notebooks, pens, binders and other learning tools. What a great way to start their school year! We are proud to partner with ACE and stand with a determination to eliminate violence against women and children."
The ACE Community Fund and Genesis Women's Shelter relationship will not end here. Effective October 1, ACE will be providing Genesis Women's Shelter clients with financial literacy education covering everything from paycheck and banking basics to credit and budget preparation.
