Today, Abbott will participate in the Social Innovation Summit 2011 at the United Nations. Kathy Pickus, divisional vice president, Global Citizenship and Policy, and vice president, the Abbott Fund, will speak at the following sessions:
Kathy Pickus will discuss Abbott's approach to social innovation through sustainable access initiatives in emerging and developing markets, highlighting work in China, India, Haiti and Tanzania. Working in partnership with others, Abbott leverages its core business expertise and resources to create long-term solutions in these countries and around the world.
