Intervals (www.myintervals.com), the growing online project management service from Pelago, has recently reached $1.5 billion in work managed by its customers. Intervals customer base has grown to include web designers, developers, creative agencies, and other small businesses in over 100 countries. On the heels of this milestone comes an array of improvements and new features.

The recent round of updates launched by the Intervals development team includes a number of features requested by customers. Allesandro Renzi, an Intervals customer, was recently quoted as saying "It is almost like [Intervals] has been sitting with us at internal meetings." Intervals was recently expanded to include the following features and improvements:

• Visually improved PDF exports to appear the same as they do in the software.
  
• Designate multiple project managers per project.
  
• Reduced number of clicks to navigate the online application.
  
• Added import tools for time, tasks, and projects.
  
• Right-click contextual menus added to weekly timesheet.
  
• Improved task and milestone scheduling.

As Intervals continues to expand, the Intervals team has been making additional application and infrastructure improvements to stay ahead of the growth. System Administrators at Intervals recently made another round of infrastructure enhancements, increasing the response time of the online application and increasing database speed and capacity to accommodate a growing number of customers and data. "Waiting for a problem to occur before fixing it is unacceptable," stated John Reeve of Pelago. "We run Intervals through a regiment of scenarios at both the application and server infrastructure levels, so that we can resolve potential problems before they ever happen."

The success of Intervals has resulted in Pelago moving into a newly renovated office. Upgrades to the new space include upgraded ethernet wiring, energy efficient lighting, and more room for creative meetings. "We're very much into being a lifestyle company with a unique culture, and our workspace is is an important variable," shared Michael Payne of Pelago. "We wanted a space where we can draw on the walls, cook lunch together, and have the freedom to pursue whatever creative ideas may pop up."

Pelago is making a strong commitment to making Intervals an essential and comprehensive tool that is also easy-to-use. Several customers have already complimented on the recent Intervals improvements. In addition to focusing on developing new features for their online software, Pelago is also taking the time to donate to environmental causes. As members of One Percent for the Planet, Pelago donates 1% of their revenue to environmental causes.
