The Unicorn Theatre is the national home of theatre for children and young people, producing world-class work for, with and by children aged six months to 18 years.

The Unicorn is dedicated to the creation and presentation of great theatre with children and young people at its heart. Every year the company produces a variety of well-crafted stage plays and runs an extensive and highly-regarded Learning and Participation programme for schools and young people. The Unicorn is recognised for its pioneering work for children with disabilities.

United Business Media have generously invited the Unicorn Theatre to be represented at the Responsible Partnerships Exhibition. The Unicorn Theatre welcomes this opportunity to expand its strong business partnerships by meeting leading CSR professionals with an interest in education and arts provision for children across London and the south-east.

In order to continue and develop its work, the Unicorn Theatre relies on a network of corporate partners whose support provides opportunities for the theatre's vibrant artistic programme to reach more young people. In return for robust corporate sector support, the Unicorn Theatre offers an association with excellence, opportunities to promote company involvement to a diverse young audience and a value for money guarantee. Current partners include Financial Times, HSBC, Irwin Mitchell and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

NOTE TO EDITORS:

Corporate support for the Unicorn can be achieved through a variety of engaging sponsorship and fundraising initiatives from full, tailor-made production sponsorship to support for payroll giving and staff volunteering.

Corporate Partners: the Unicorn Theatre has three different levels of corporate sponsorship available, each offering a range of benefits including discounted tickets, hosting opportunities, invitations to special events, accreditation around the theatre, in print and on the website.
Mobile Phone Recycling Scheme: a new fundraising scheme that provides support to both the Unicorn Theatre and the environment through the donation of old mobile phones. A straightforward way for companies to take the worry out of corporate giving, the Unicorn supplies all of the materials needed, including secure containers, posters, incentives and more.
Give As You Earn: GAYE is a government scheme that makes it easy for employees to give to charity. Payments are made before tax, which means that a gift of £10 will only actually cost the giver £8 if they are a standard-rate tax payer (or £6 if they are a higher rate tax payer).

To find out more about the different opportunities or to register interest, please contact Senior Development Manager, Dorcas Morgan: Dorcas.morgan@unicorntheatre.com / 020 7645 0524 or visit the Unicorn on Stand 136 at the exhibition.
