J.Jill Compassion Fund Accepting Grant Applications October 21 through December 1, 2010

/PRNewswire/ - Specialty retailer J.Jill is committed to their ongoing mission to help disadvantaged and homeless women become self-sufficient. For the tenth consecutive year, the J.Jill Compassion Fund, a donor advised fund at the Boston Foundation, will be making grants to community-based organizations that support underprivileged and homeless women. Grant applications will be accepted beginning October 21 through December 1, 2010 at www.jjill.com.

Funding priority is given to non-profit programs and organizations that provide job training, education and transitional and/or affordable housing to underprivileged and homeless women. Organizations are encouraged to visit www.jjill.com to learn more about the 2011 grant guidelines and process.
