ASI Government Celebrates Its Rebranding with Launch of 'Choices for Charity' Contest

Invites the Public to Vote on Which Charity Should Receive $10,000 Donation

/PRNewswire/ - ASI Government (ASI), public-sector consultants specializing in performance management solutions, today announced it would donate $10,000 to charity as part of its rebranding celebration, and the company invited the public to choose which charity would benefit. The campaign is intended to celebrate ASI's recent name change, as well as the many ways in which the company serves its government clients.

"Our firm and its employees are deeply committed to helping government agencies deliver better mission performance," said Anne Reed, ASI's president and CEO. "When it came time to celebrate our recent name change from Acquisition Solutions to ASI Government, we thought, 'What better way to honor this commitment than by donating to a charity that aligns with the mission of our government customers?'"

Rather than choose a charity on its own, ASI is inviting the public to provide its input via the firm's Web site at www.asigovernment.com. ASI employees nominated 15 charities that each align with a client mission, and Web site visitors can choose among them. To make the contest more interesting - and to get added involvement from the public - ASI is also allowing visitors to make their own suggestions. The top two new charities nominated each week will be added to the list of 15. Participants may vote once per day throughout the duration of the contest, which ends Friday, Dec. 3. ASI will announce the winner on Monday, Dec. 6.

ASI Government has kicked off an advertising campaign to further celebrate its rebranding and promote the contest, with ads running on WTOP 103.5 FM through December.

"We're thrilled about this contest, both as a way to promote the broad array of research, consulting, training and tools we deliver as ASI Government, and as a way to generate lots of excitement for a worthy cause," said Jeremy Grant, ASI's chief development officer. "I urge everybody to visit www.asigovernment.com to vote, and to spread the word to their friends and colleagues through Facebook, Twitter, GovLoop and plain old word of mouth!"
