(Marketwire) - Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), one of the world's largest hospitality companies, is giving back to the community through a donation to the Starlight Children's Foundation in conjunction with the Wyndham Hotel Group's first global conference.

A contribution of $100,000 was presented to Ron Leibow, the board chair for Starlight Children's Foundation, by chairman and chief executive officer of Wyndham Worldwide Stephen P. Holmes and president and chief executive officer of Wyndham Hotel Group Eric Danziger on behalf of the Wyndham Worldwide charitable foundation at the request of the company's Wishes by Wyndham philanthropic program.

Starlight is a great organization and we are proud to assist them in helping improve the quality of life for seriously ill children around the world."

Wyndham Worldwide supports the Wyndham Worldwide charitable foundation, which assists and funds three signature charities: Starlight Children's Foundation, Christel House International and the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. All three focus their efforts on improving the lives of children in need.

Starlight Children's Foundation, which helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities, is Wyndham Hotel Group's signature charity.
