The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index announced its rating of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) as one of the top performers in the global chemical industry "“ marking the tenth time Dow has received this recognition since the launch of the Index.

Dow was one of only nine chemical companies to be recognized in the World Index. Dow achieved the highest possible score for Operational Eco-efficiency and Environmental Reporting, and the highest score in the sector for Standards for Suppliers. The Company's overall score was 83 percent - 28 percentage points higher than the average for the industry group.
