Thubten Lekshey Ling Nyingma Buddhist Centre in Bangalore is conducting the empowerment of the gathering of awareness holders for the first time in Bangalore. Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche, a distinguished master of Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism will be bestowing the empowerment.

Rigdzin Dupa, the gathering of awareness holders (vidyadharas) is the inner practice of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) from the renowned Longchen Nyingtik (Heart Essence of the Great Expanse) cycle of Vajrayana Buddhism. An empowerment (abhisheka) into this practice will be conducted for the first time in Bangalore on the 4th of September 2010. Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche from Namdroling Monastery will be bestowing the empowerment to the interested disciples. The empowerment will be conducted at Ashirvad on St. Marks Road, Bangalore.

Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche is a distinguished master of the Nyingma tradition of Indo-Tibetan Buddhism, and one of the three superior abbots overseeing the education at Ngagyur Nyingma University of Namdroling Monastery in Bylakkuppe. Based on His Holiness Penor Rinpoche's advice, Khen Rinpoche travels extensive around the world delivering teachings and guiding disciples. He received recognition from His Holiness Dalai Lama for his Buddhist scholarship during his studies at the Central University of Higher Tibetan Studies, Saranath. He received all major lineage transmissions of the Nyingma tradition from HH Dudjom Rinpoche, HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and HH Penor Rinpoche. He is affectionately known among his disciples as "Khenpo Guru".
