Jurriaan Kamp of Ode Magazine will speak at the September 28th, 2010 EcoTuesday event in San Francisco, to be held at The Box SF: 1069 Howard St. at 6:30P.M.

EcoTuesday is a networking event held for sustainable business professionals in nine cities across the U.S. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Ode Magazine's Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Jurriaan Kamp, will be the keynote speaker in the upcoming September 28th event.

Before founding Ode, Kamp was an editor, a correspondent in South Asia and the Chief Economics Editor at the Dutch daily newspaper, NRC Handelsblad. He is the author of Small Change: How Fifty Dollars Changes the World and Because People Matter.

Kamp will open the first 20 minutes of the event and discuss the media's role in making a positive impact on the world. He believes that the media must present solutions instead of open-ended problems. After the keynote presentation, an "introduction circle" will begin. Attendants will then have the opportunity to share their passion for sustainable ideas and collaborate with others.
