Dawn Jones, RYT, CCYT, founder of True Light Yoga Christian Yoga Retreats, is offering free yoga classes on the beaches of several coastal communities devastated by the Deepwater Horizon drilling explosion.
100% of donations made at each class will be given to local non-profit organizations.
Christian Yoga Classes on the Beach
Jones will be teaching three, all-fitness-level Christian Yoga classes at beach-side inns located in Florida and Alabama Gulf Coast communities:

Each class lasts for one hour. Complimentary beverages, courtesy of the host inns, will be served. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and may make donations for oil relief by check.
Inspired to Help the Coast
Jones wanted to use her platform as a Christian Yoga teacher to support coastal communities struggling with the oil catastrophe.
"As a resident of the Florida coast, I have seen the terrible economic and environmental impact on the entire gulf," Jones says, "and as a Christian, it is my duty to do whatever I can to help the people in these communities and the sea life in the gulf survive."
