BOULDER, Colo., Apr. 06 /CSRwire/ - The LOHAS Forum, the premiere business executive event focusing on the growing $209B LOHAS market, and Investors' Circle, a national network of angel investors, professional venture capitalists, foundations, family offices and others who are using private capital to promote the transition to a sustainable economy, will present a round of professionally screened companies to financial and strategic investors at the 2010 LOHAS Forum in Boulder, Colorado. This is the second annual venture fair at the LOHAS Forum.

LOHAS and IC are now accepting applications from companies in the green products arena that are interested in the opportunity to present their business plan to investors. Visit http://www.lohas.com/forum/ICventurefair.html to learn more about the application process. Only companies professionally screened and selected by LOHAS and IC will be eligible to present at the meeting. "We feel this is a great partnership of like-minded organizations." Says Ted Ning, director of the LOHAS Forum. "To have this type of investment focused event at the LOHAS forum is a great way for companies to meet and create relations that enhance the expansion of the LOHAS market." Deb Parsons, co-director of Investors' Circle agrees. "Over the years, Investors' Circle members have helped launch great LOHAS companies like NUMI Tea, Indigenous Designs, Zip Car and others. It just makes sense to bring the investment matchmaking to the LOHAS forum."

The deadline for applications is April 27th, 2010. Companies will be notified if they are accepted by May 25th, 2010.

The event welcomes all accredited investors interested in LOHAS companies and is not limited exclusively to Investors' Circle members.

The LOHAS/IC Investor Meeting will primarily be designed for companies at two stages:

First Round: Typically companies beyond proof of concept with revenues of $1-5 million and raising outside or professional capital. Investments of $2-5 million usually sought.

Start-Ups: Companies engaged in proof-of-concept or "pre-revenue", typically bootstrapped or funded by family and friends and now ready for angel or early-stage venture financing. Revenues typically less than $1 million and seeking investment of $500,000 to $2 million.

Where and When: LOHAS/IC Investor Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010 from 11am-4pm at The Highland City Club in Boulder, Colorado.

Registration is also open for accredited investors. For more information on either attending or presenting at the meeting: http://www.lohas.com/forum/ICventurefair.html or (415) 255-6844; lohas@investorscircle.net.
