Today, Bisquick®, America's best-selling pancake mix, launches Bisquick Pancake Nation™, the first Web site of its kind to unite pancake lovers from across all parts of the United States. Whether a pancake lover looking to plan and promote a pancake event, or a pancake connoisseur seeking a delectable breakfast nearby, this Web site is full of tools and information. At the hub of the Web site is a grants program that offers qualified non-profit organizations and schools an opportunity to receive a $250.00 grant toward a pancake fundraiser.

"We are thrilled to be able to share our passion for communities and pancakes through the Bisquick Pancake Nation," said DyShaun Muhammad, Bisquick Marketing Manager. "This program and the tools available on BisquickPancakeNation.com will help fundraiser organizers plan, promote and execute fun and successful pancake fundraising events."

HOW THE GRANTS WORK
The Bisquick Pancake Nation program will support and reward nonprofit organizations and qualified public or private schools, with a one-time $250.00 grant towards hosting their next pancake breakfast fundraiser in their local community. A list of funding qualifiers and conditions can be found at www.bisquickpancakenation.com. Grant applications will be accepted beginning February 16th through May 31, 2010. To celebrate, and help kick off this new initiative, Bisquick issued the program's first grant to International Pancake Day of Liberal, Kansas. This annual four-day long event is filled with family fun for all ages: Road races, a beauty pageant, a talent show, and of course, eating and flipping pancakes games.

"We are proud to partner with Bisquick to celebrate our 61st year of celebrating America's love of pancakes," said Ken Thompson, 2010 International Pancake Day Chairman. "In addition to a grant, Bisquick generously donated 550 pounds of pancake mix to honor us as the first organization to join the Nation!"

WEB SITE
Beyond traditional tips and recipes, the Bisquick Pancake Nation site (www.BisquickPancakeNation.com) includes customizable tools and templates such as invitations and signage to plan a pancake breakfast that are easy to download and share. The site also includes:
