Homes Built to Be First LEED Certified Housing Development in Lynwood

WHAT:
Subaru Build Day will allow volunteers from Subaru's Los Angeles zone office the opportunity to help build a home with a Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles partner Family. The home being build is one of the first LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) housing developments in the City of Lynwood.
The event is part of the second-annual Subaru Share the Love Event. The event will run from November 21, 2009 - January 4, 2010. Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer's choice of one of the following five charities: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA), Meals On Wheels Association of America, Habitat for Humanity, National Wildlife Federation® (NWF) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
