J. Jill does more than design and offer beautiful clothing for women. For the eighth straight year, The J. Jill Compassion Fund, a donor-advised fund at The Boston Foundation, will be making grants to community-based organizations supporting poor and homeless women. Grant applications will be accepted from October 16, 2009 through November 30, 2009 at www.jjill.com. Funding priority is given to non-profit programs and organizations that provide job training, education and transitional and/or affordable housing to poor and homeless women. Organizations are encouraged to visit www.jjill.com to learn more about the 2010 grant guidelines.
