Environmental awareness has never been higher - it's a mainstream issue at the top of mind of many businesses and consumers. But what can consumers do above and beyond recycling and switching their lightbulbs?

A new television series, Eco Echo, is ready to answer that green question. Targeting the highly sought after 18-49 age group, Eco Echo is a weekly magazine style 30-minute television series bringing viewers The word on green living. Whether new to the green scene or already a treehugger, Eco Echo captures their attention through its fresh aesthetic and well-paced content.

Each episode revolves around six environmentally focused segments including: Food, Fashion, Technology, Products, Transportation, and Home. "Our concept is to show viewers the latest in eco trends and how they can green their own lives," said Edgar Alcala, Executive Producer of Eco Echo. From electric cars to making your own natural perfumes, and from the latest in eco-handbags to new ways to save energy at home, Eco Echo covers all lifestyle topics in a simple, fun and entertaining way.

Eco Echo is hosted by Miami native Alina Sedano and created by Spiral Media, the production company led by Edgar Alcala and Raquel de Antonio in conjunction with Rebecca Carter, an eco social media expert. It is planned to air on broadcast television in January 2010.

For companies that are seeking this target audience, sponsorship of Eco Echo is available, with various levels and solutions available to reach consumers across television, web, and social media platforms. "Eco Echo is a green TV show for a mainstream audience, plus we provide a significant online and social media presence. It's a huge value-add for our sponsors," noted Eco Expert and writer Rebecca Carter.
