Reinforcing one of its core business strategies to advance a powerful commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) today announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative.

Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact brings business together with UN agencies, labor, civil society and governments to advance universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption.
