Marosits, a Chancellor of the Collaboration says, "In difficult economic times, it is the poor who suffer most. Those who can do something, must do something." The Opportunity Collaboration convenes on World Poverty Day, October 17, 2009 and comprises four days of collaboration, problem solving and action-taking on behalf of the world's poor.

"The Opportunity Collaboration is about leveraging resources and creating influential partnerships," states Collaboration CEO Jonathan C. Lewis. "Delegates have been chosen for their unique perspectives, talents and commitment."

Cronin and Marosits will co-present a leadership workshop entitled Marketing Innovative Social Solutions. The workshop will focus on growing sustainable programs and initiatives that create economic opportunity. "Nonprofits, social ventures, even Foundations have been adversely affected by the downturn in the global economy.
